Our industry has seen a huge amount of change and upheaval in the last 4 years which has impacted right across supply chains and into consumer behaviour.

To explore and understand the impacts of these changes, The Knowledge Bank, in partnership with IGD, will be exploring up-to-the-minute economic forecasts and the potential impact on UK shopper and consumers.

Why attend? –

James Walton, Chief Economist at IGD will explore the shocks that hit the food and drink industry in 2022 including labour, inputs, sustainability and supply chains.  He will then take a deep dive into how the markets are responding in 2023 and looking specifically at energy, food markets, shopper and retailer behaviour and supply chain security.

Andrew Niven of The Knowledge Bank will explore the on-the-ground effects on shopper actions and likely outcomes in out-of-home.
